Hotel Derby Interlaken - Self Check-In

The charming ambiance made our stay enjoyable overall.

The bathroom in our room was quite small, difficult to maneuver comfortably. Lastly, the internet was down , and we received little assistance when we tried to address the issue.

The bedroom was neat and heated. The location was marvellous and stunning, specially it was walk from a train station which was useful.

The friendly staff helped me with local tips and directions, made exploring easy. My room was clean and cozy. The AC was a lifesaver during the hot weather 😊

We liked its generous and varied breakfasts!

The location was comfortable and perfect in a very very nice area, so close to Interlaken, Switzerland as well as the train station. We concluded the day with a sightseeing Unterseen Castle at a short distance from the hotel.

The breakfast is a quite clearly arranged buffet with coffee machines for self-service. However, there are no warm dishes, such as eggs. The rooms are clean but very small and also a bit outdated. The bed is too soft for us, the covers are too rough. The pillows are not our cup of tea, so we have been travelling with our own for years. Our purposes for one night were fulfilled. The fact that there was a parking place in front of the house was also a criterion for us. The boss is super nice and helpful. Apart from one other woman, I have not found any other servants. The location is quite central in Interlaken, you can get to the city in 10 minutes on foot.

With a breakfast buffet I still wish myself something warm to choose from.

The proximity to the train stations made traveling

Easy, great to explore countless attractions in the fine Swiss Alps. The staff's kind gestures, such as providing a complimentary local transport pass, were appreciated, though the breakfast could have offered a broader variety.

Loved this hotel.The owner was so helpful and his knowledge of the local area was excellent. Breakfast was enjoyable and the easter eggs a lovely touch! Would have loved to stay longer than two days.

No lift but they have many rooms on ground & first floor - so not too bad.

The room for 4 people was clean, well designed and comfortable. Stayed 2 nights in Derby hotel and the breakfast was terrific.

Quite a problem at first trying to find the hotel, because we missed the first right junction and a wrong interpretation from a local. But after that it was only a mere 7 minutes walk from Interlaken West station, close to practically everything you can imagine.

Great Location. Super friendly staff. Clean & tidy room with all the expected comforts. Great breakfast selection. Five star experience in a beautiful part of the world. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Great and beautiful location: a train station walk from the hotel. Great restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.

Wi-Fi was terrible.

The breakfast was quite decent, with options. The room felt cramped for our family of four, and we experienced noise from other guests during late hours, which impacted our overall comfort.

Hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was very central and close to everything in Interlaken.

When the hotel is full free parking is sometimes not available. 2 nights I had to park in a parking garage off site. The garage was just a very short walk from the hotel and cost about 10 CHF for roughly 12 hours.
